i just love this game. it´s a trainwreck, it´s disturbing, sad , tragic and absolutely disgusting (except for those 2 endings damn). Another comment mentioned a few trigger warnings, so if you dont want to read about stuff like that, do not play this game. It´s really ... crazy. But hey that´s why i decided to download it ! and my expectation were met! 10/10, music and voice is great, art is fine too, story might be a bit confusing at first but that´s alright. Everything makes sense once you get to that one ending. Oh and regarding the translation ... yeah it´s a little messy here and there but i think one is able to understand anyways due to the context of the scene
for this one, I'll consider it from two aspects, the visual novel and the translation, it will be a long one. Before that though, I have to admit the most glaring issue for me was, for the page of this to be lacking any warnings whatsoever beforehand since this one is... quite NSFW (that adult tag doesn't cut it lol), can get traumatizing especially for those who don't want to get exposed to some specific themes like that beyond their initial/vague expectations (see and check out the example of warnings stated in the sakurabito version, so TWs/heads up for anyone before playing: violence (body harm, including references to physical injury and invasive actions involving the abdomen), abuse (drug and physical, animal and child), suicide, explicit/sexual non-con scenes (including depictions of dubiously-consensual intercourse), confinement, flashing lights, elements of body horror (featuring creatures with disturbing and unnatural forms).
VN: the thing I noticed firstly, the pacing.. can get a bit jumpy and fast, even some endings or events were unexpected, abrupt especially in the beginning, and I still don't understand some of the exorcised souls, matsu(kami) god or whatever, though the mystery and story still managed to get resolved by the end with a true, happy conclusion. (Small nitpicky thing; the song Kagome Kagome played during whenever the third matsukami/kokeshi god I think was unsuitable). A nice surprise that I didn't anticipate was for Ryuji to be responsible and kind since I thought he would be evil/mean towards Yoruichi. Now if we talk about the yandere—star of the vn; Yoruichi, I can state for sure that he was extreme, in a way he would.. um, get so quick in resorting to assault and/or rape the heroine what with the drug abuse hypnosis and everything, I wasn't quite satisfied with the way he treated the heroine honestly, but he did give me the rightful chills, horror and disgust. Plus, the lackluster heroine barely had a soul in her, and since this VN was the type with blank slate protag whose words only got spoken through other characters—in that meaning, she was more of the doll rather than Yoruichi besides the moment she had to purify the matsukamis and the reveal about her at the end where she could've just talked and prevented worsening the trust+abandonment isssues she gave to Yoruichi wayy earlier. It did gave off the amplified despairful disappointment for the bad ends though, haha.
Translation: I found typos (particularly the quest/quess/guess-guest words), incorrect use and discrepancy of grammar, and some untranslated words in Russian with all them combined it can get quite distracting and confusing at times throughout the gameplay, but I do still appreciate the efforts to translate this from native language of Russian which I think the translation team was originated to English done for free of charge, though if you don't mind like a proofreader or something to tidy up more of the translation, I can help out a bit.
there was something I wanted to say to you thank you for translating Guardian Goddess, thank you so much for translating such a wonderful game it was downright beautiful I love the characters including Yoruichi I love how their relationship unfolds and I love the storys and the ending it put me in tears thank you so much for translating it again thank
you and I can’t wait for the Sakurabito version I can’t wait to play it!
This version of Guardian Goddess is “Usual version”. In “Usual version”, the main heroine wear a bandage on her face. If you want version where the heroine doesn’t wear a bandage on her face, download “Sakurabito version” from gmkzhere.
Is this incomplete yet? I can't get pass the 2nd choices because after I choose "pray" I never get to go to the 3rd ending no matter how many times I replay it it ends in the same way with the cat. I tried doing the russian version to see if there's something missing but it's the same. I saw the instruction and followed it but nothing happened either. No matter what I do I can't get the 3rd ending always stuck and 2nd or the incomplete ending. There's no 3rd choices only 1st and 2nd. Is it just me who's missing something?
Hello! I've a bit hesitant to try out demos recently but this one caught my interest. It seems like a promising one. The character designs are so unique and good... ahh hoping to see the full version the next time I come back.

yeah, no worries, I followed that account and like I said, sakurabito version was the page that handled the warnings better. Thanks though.
oops, skimmed over that. Thx for the review!

Thank you so much!
Hello, is this is based on Sakura Bito ( with Partial dialogue for the protagonist addition)? because Iam confused .
This version of Guardian Goddess is “Usual version”.
In “Usual version”, the main heroine wear a bandage on her face.
If you want version where the heroine doesn’t wear a bandage on her face, download “Sakurabito version” from gmkz here.
So its just the bandage on her face is the difference nothing else like extra dialogue ?
I will check out this version but wanted to know because there are about three releases of the game so I was confused .
Thank you for translating this game .
It's better to ask gmkz about the differences. I only translated the usual version.

You downloaded the demo version. The full version was released on 1 July. Download the full version and enjoy the game.
Will there ever be a mac version?? This looks so cool :(((
I'm not sure, but try downloading the Windows version. Did it work on a Mac?
no :(
Thanks for info.
Try this method for running it in a browser. I haven't tested it with this game specifically, but it generally works for the TyranoBuilder engine.
Thanks for help.

The game engine seems to support a version for mac. Let's try the game on it.
This looks interesting! and the artwork is so nice too. Definitely gonna be keeping an eye on this one ♡
